FAQs

Here are the answers to some of the most common questions our users have

How does Keyword Finder work?
Keyword Finder uses Google's autocomplete API to find thousands of keywords for you. You can enter up to 5 different seed keywords (for shallow searches), and find all possible long-tail keywords based on them.
What does Monthly Volume mean?
The Monthly Volume column shows you the average value of the total searches performed for this keyword over the last one year. As an example, a monthly volume of 10,000 means that people have performed a search for this keyword at Google 10,000 times on average per month during the last one year.
What does Adwords CPC mean?
The Adwords CPC is the cost to the advertisers per click for this keyword at Google.com.
What does Adwords Comp mean?
Adwords Comp is the competition between advertisers that have ads running on Google for that keyword. A higher value means that this keyword might have commercial intent as many advertisers are interested in it. This is very different than SEO Difficulty and should not be confused with it.
What is the difference between a Shallow Search and a Deep Search?
A shallow search will complete in just over one minute and show you around 1400 keywords. A deep search can take up to 30 minutes to complete and can show you up to 10,000 keywords. Deep searches can only be performed on a single search keyword. If you enter multiple keywords and perform a Deep search, then only the first keyword in the list will be used.
How do I download all the data?
At the top of the table, you should see four buttons - 'Copy', 'Excel', 'CSV' and 'PDF'. You can export all the data using these buttons.
How do I see volume, CPC, competition & 12 month trend data?
We use Keywords Everywhere's public API to provide you this data. You need to have an API key with purchased credits. Their API uses one credit for every keyword that is shown by our tool.
